Qu-Bit already has Nebulae as a DSP platform. I get that Data Bender is a pretty unique effect and this is probably what makes Qu-bit think it can stand on its own, but it still suffers from a waning novelty after multiple uses, just like every other effect module. To me, it seems like this layout could support delays & reverbs without problems. Just taking it to its basic layout: it has 5 parameters that have CV control, 3 of those params with gate control, clock in, mix, and freeze via gate. On top of that, it gives people something new to try during these times with manufacturing delays and whatnot. NE created the Versio on the same Daisy Platform and let all the users be able to have access to every alternate firmware and people are still buying multiples of it. Just want to bring this point up because Qu-bit is missing a huge opportunity with not using the data bender as a broader DSP platform. Has Qu-bit ever released a FW, for anything? They don't seem to care a lot about their products/feedback i have to say, it's more like release and move on.
